Can I change lyrics without changing the song?
Yes. The lyrics changer re-sings only the section you select and blends it with the audio around it. The melody, rhythm, instruments and the rest of the vocals stay the same.
Will the new words sound like the same singer?
The replacement is generated by the same model and voice as the original track, so it matches the singer and style. As with any AI vocal, the re-sung phrase may differ slightly in delivery — you can generate again if you want another take.
How small a change can I make?
You can change a single word, but the re-rendered section is always at least ten seconds long (usually one or two lines) and at most half the song. We highlight any extra lines that were included so you can keep their words as they are.
Which songs can I edit?
Any completed song with lyrics that you generated on Song AI with model V4.5 or newer — older V4 tracks can't be edited in place. Instrumental tracks have no lyrics to change. Uploading your own audio is coming soon.
How much does it cost to change lyrics?
Changing a section costs the same credits as generating a song with the same model. You can preview the original section for free before you generate.
Does it work for other languages and rap?
